What does Shelby do?
Meet the new Shelby Mustang Mach-E GT, our first production EV and available only in Europe. Shelby American is honoring the 100th anniversary of our visionary founder’s birth with a post-title package for current generation European Ford Mustang Mach-E GT electric vehicles. Based on the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT, the Shelby package modifies the electric all-wheel drive vehicle to enhance the SUV’s handling and styling.
As our first foray into production electric vehicles, we spent a great deal of time testing EV’s on the track to understand their unique handling dynamics. Based on that experience, we lowered the SUV over an inch, cut weight off the top, reduced rotating mass to enhance stability.
Exterior
Strong Light-Weight Carbon Fiber
The Shelby Mach-E GT features a plethora of carbon fiber exterior pieces including an all carbon fiber hood, front lower splitter, front grille, mirror covers and lower door trim.
Forged Aluminum Wheels
Reducing significant rotating mass, and un-sprung weight, the Shelby rides on one piece forged aluminum Monoblock wheels.
The carbon fiber body components and other exterior features are all tied together with over the top vinyl striping and a modern side stripe accented with an electric blue.
